Ili River Port emerged as a conceptual project, representing a river route and a transport-logistics hub located on the shore of the Kapchagay Reservoir.The project is aimed at restoring and modernizing the historical role of the Ili River as a vital artery of the transport infrastructure that played a key role in the region's development during Soviet times.

Port project

The Ili River Port project includes the creation of a modern and multifunctional infrastructure, including all necessary elements for efficient logistics and cargo transportation.The port infrastructure will include freight and passenger terminals, warehouses, administrative buildings, as well as security and technical support services. Located on the shore of the Kapshagay Reservoir, the port will provide quick access to the region's main transportation arteries.
